The Yoga of Sound through the Tantra path, with Patrick Torre

Patrick Torre organises and directs periodically a seminar of Yoga of Sound in different regions of the french Mediterranean area, and once a year, a course in Paris.
This summer 2009 I joined a 5 day stage in Corse, at the convent of Saint Hyacintho, and this is my impression.
Thanks to Patrick way of transmitting his knowledge, he explained the means the Sound acts, its therapeutic effects, and the effects contained in the Mantras. The Mantras are short sentences, or words made of one syllable like OM , generally written in Sanskrit language. These Mantras, composed of different sounds, carry all the energy that the humans have amplified during centuries by singing, reciting or meditating them. The more Mantras are practised the more powerful they become. Depending on the type of Mantra, the effects can be curative, liberating, calming, energetic . . . |

The sound has a direct effect on our multiple bodies.
On our physical body it works vibrating on muscles, bones, organs, liberating all tensions and other malfunctions. It penetrates in our cells, making them dance to the quantum level, which resets the free circulation of energy, eliminates what has no reason to be there, and fills us up with a sensation of total well-being.
On our emotional body, the sound eliminates the densities produced by non desired emotions, heals the hurt caused by life, and reconnects us to the divine, producing a sensation of lightness and renewing.
Patrick teaches the Yoga of Sound through the path of Tantra Yoga, this means that he adds the dimension of Love to this ancient art.
Our heart sketches the sound; it takes its source beyond our heart, certainly from the immaterial, the untouchable, and the ethereal. This sound propagates universal love and peace.
The sound flows through our throat, which corresponds to our 5 th chackra. The throat is the bridge between the spiritual and the non spiritual is the gate to the spiritual world.
This gate got opened in me during this stage, and I am very thankful to Patrick.
Through the Sound, Patrick gives us back our identity of Luminous and Divine beings.
Bophana, Patrick's wife, also animated the stage, she is the one in charge of the practise of Yoga, using the techniques of Dynamic Yoga, which liberates the body from all attachments. In a few words, it was brilliant. . . . and everyone loved it. |
