The word Yoga means literally union, and it aims the union of the individual (Jiva) with the absolute (Brahman). In other words it means that the humans are part of one entire unit, to which he or she is interrelated, but from which he or she feels apart (except for a few ones).
That explains the natural need that moves each one of us to encounter, discover and reconnect ourselves with our own essence.
Our essence is our "me" or "Jiva of Yoga" which is the image of "unity" or "absolute" or "Brahman of Yoga" to which we are all connected in an invisible way. The union with the absolute frees up our spirit of any feeling of separation, of the notion space-time, of causality.
In our modern societies where we have little or no time for ourselves, diseases on us get bigger and more significant.
It's just here when time for Yoga comes, it is a millenarian life science, revealed to wise yogis while their meditation.
Yoga proposes to show the way to happiness and knowledge through a number of techniques.
In the beginning Yoga teaches us to control our physical and emotional tensions.
It soothes our body, allowing our muscles and articulations to work without hurts.
It soothes and strengthens our back.
It stimulates our interior organs, producing a better blood circulation.
It turns your body flexible, allowing you to be in good health, good looking, and good in your skin.
Whichever reason brings you to Yoga, it can be the tool to obtain what you are looking for, and much more.
To understand and feel Yoga it is necessary to go through the experience. Even when at the beginning of your practise, you will find this exercises and postures very strange, they will turn your body flexible, invigorated and relaxed gradually.
If you practise regularly you will notice subtle changes, you will feel calmer day after day, swimming in a sea of interior peace that nothing and no one can break.
There you'll find your truth nature, the nature of the human.
Yoga's essence is such that it will allow you to feel fulfilled, which is what we are all after in a conscious or unconscious way. |
